जब We Mat (બ્લોગની કમાલ )

કમલેશ નાણાવટી ને હું છેલ્લે મળ્યો ત્યારે ફરી જિંદગીમાં મળાશે કે કેમ તે ભરોશો નહતો. કમલેશ અને હું અમદાવાદ ખાતે રિલાયન્સના નરોડા પ્લાન્ટમાં સાથે કામ કરતા. નાઇટ શિફ્ટમાં સાહિત્યની ઘણી વાતો નીકળતી, રાત ક્યાં વિતી જતી ખબર નહોતી પડતી. મારા મિત્ર થાનકીને અમે સાથે ક્યારે મળેલા એતો સાવ જ ભૂલાઇ ગયું હતું.

હું ૧૯૮૨ ઓગસ્ટમાં અમાદાવાદ છોડી ને મુંબઇ -રિલાયન્સ કંપનીના પાતાળગંગા પ્લાન્ટમાં આવી ગયો અને કમલેશ નાણાવટીએ  તેજ અરસામાં  અમેરીકા ભણી પ્રસ્થાન કર્યું હશે.

ઘણાયે સમયથી બીજે દેશ વસતાં,

સ્મરણ નોતર્યા ને તમે યાદ આવ્યાં.

પુરાણા સંબંધો જે અકબંધ હતાં તે,

જરા ખોતર્યા ને તમે યાદ આવ્યા.

પૂરપાટ રસ્તો તમારા નગરનો,

જરા ચાતર્યો ને તમે યાદ આવ્યા.

પંખીના મેળા જેવો ઘાટ હોય છે. હું મારે ગામ લીંબડીથી ઉડીને અમદાવાદ આવ્યો હતો. કમલેશ નાણાવટી પણ ક્યાંકથી ઉડીને અમદાવાદ આવ્યા હશે. અને અમ બન્ને પાછા ઉડી ગયા, એક એમેરીકા ભણી અને એક મુંબઇ ભણી, જિંદગીના આકાશમાં ક્યાં ખોવાઇ ગયા ખબર ન પડી. પણ આ બ્લોગે કમાલ કરી, કવિ કાલિદાસના મેઘદૂત નાટકમાં જેમ મેઘના વાદળો દ્વારા સંદેશાઓ મોકલવાની જે કલ્પના હતી તે બ્લોગે સિધ્ધ કરી.

મારા જીવનની આ એક એદ્ભૂત ઘટના છે કે મારો એક મિત્ર અમેરિકામાં મને લગભગ ૨૭ કે  ૨૮ વર્ષ પછી બ્લોગ સર્ફીગ કરતા કરતા શોધી કાઢે અને પ્રતિભાવ લખીને મારા સુધી પહોંચે. છે ને Science ની કમાલ !!!!

Yaad aave che.. Reliance.. SDS3 and night shifts? Gujarati Sahitya ni vato ane charchao?

My cousin sent me a website, mavjibhai.com.. and I was going through it. When I searched for that site again.. accidentally I found Harsukh Thanki Blog page.. I posted on his page.. about Reliance, you, me and him, Jansatta press, met Adil Mansuri behind Rupali Cinema.. etc. I forgot the name Chandni.. but I still remembered your Short story Extension.. So.. you never wrote again after you went to Patalganga ? Wow.. almost 27-29 years gone by..

I am here in USA..Atlanta GA for last 20 years. Did my computers here..( I was oldest person in the class.. but I beat all them.) Now… working as Network Engineer in AT&T..I still miss reliance.. ( reliance bahu yaad aaave che.)

I asked Harsukhbhai.. that how to contact you.. and I was going through his blogs and comments and I found your name.. Dinkar.. and you said you have your own Blog and name is bhattji.. then I was sure it must be you..
